Committee positions

We have 4 positions to be filled on the Limelight committee. Please submit your interest to the limelight email by 18 December 2011: golimelight@gmail.com

Position 1: Grants & Fundraising Manager

For this post you will be expected to research and identify potential grants to aid all areas of Limelight Productions. You will apply for grants and manage their progress. In addition you will also explore any additional fundraising opportunities we can develop and put these into action using resources from other committee managers as and when necessary.

Position 2: Business Development Manager

For this post you will be expected to explore business opportunities which can bring finances into Limelight Productions. You will also bring in sponsorships for example annual productions, microphones, programme and principal parts. You will identify and approach potential advertisers for the show programme and develop a company package Limelight can offer in return for any business we receive. You will also explore potential links we can develop for business.

Position 3: PR & Publicity Manager

For this post you will be expected to identify and develop PR opportunities which Limelight Productions can take advantage of e.g. Pres Stories throughout the year (not just at show time; liaise with the Dunfermline Press, Courier etc to develop a good working relationship with each. You will arrange the publicity plan for implementation on the run up to the show and write all official press releases on the run up to show week. In addition you will help to devlop our compny monthly bulletin.

Position 4: Production Manager

For this post you will be responsible for contacting and attaining competitive quotes from companies responsible forest hire, sound hire, lighting hire, pros, costumes and any other companies who may be utilised in the production of a show. You will confirm hire and arrange contract agreements with the chosen contractors. You will work closely with the production team and be the main point of contact for the Technical/Stage Manager. You will arrange meetings between the Technical manger(s) and the production team.
