Bag-packing
Remember we are bagpacking at Asda Dalgety Bay on 4th and 5th July.
It was a fantastic effort last year where we raised £826. To do this again we really need your help so please spare an hour or two of your time.
Contact Margaret or Julie to get your names down.
Rehearsal Updates
Children are now have a break from rehearsals for the month of July. Their first day back is Sunday 2nd August.
Adults we will still see you on Wednesdays throughout July – as required.
An extra rehearsal has been called for adults on Sunday 28th July to run through Emerald City and Munchkinland. Please make sure you can attend this rehearsal.
I also have a message about rehearsals from Grum for you all:
'As we are not rehearsing ensemble sequences until Sun 26th July, your time is your own. You can choose to relax before the run-in of the show or you can choose to work over your own stuff. If you need help or direction with ANYTHING during this time, and wish to spend time polishing your own performance then (of course) we encourage this whole-heartedly. If you need any help from any of the production team, please get in touch with any of us via the usual channels - or me via graeme@gsharpe.co.uk or on my mobile 07958 384129 and I'll try my best to get things sorted and get you the help you need before we start back. Nobody will be thought of as a pain, or an inconvenience, so please don't worry about emailing. I'd rather spend the time off helping you than have you unsure of anything. Thanks guys, enjoy the heat!! Grum xx (on behalf of the Production Team)'
Toto-liser
Thank you to Julie for the fantastic name!!!
We have a totaliser (Toto-liser) counting up how many tickets are being sold. The battle’s on between the Rubies, the Emeralds and the Yellow Bricks to see who sells the most tickets. See the chart at rehearsals.
Please remember to keep selling tickets even if you are off for July - your sales will still count in the toto-liser.
Tickets
Sorry to keep harping on but it is SO important that you sell as many tickets as you can.
Tickets can be bought in three ways:
- From Anna at rehearsals. We recommend this to company members as the sales will count towards the Toto-liser.
- From Ticketmaster – please be aware there is a booking fee with Ticketmaster.
- From 3rd Base records in Chapel Street – there is also a booking fee at 3rd Base Records but you will get your ticket there and then.
Sponsorship & advertising
Can I please ask everyone to offer a sponsorship themselves or ask friends and relatives if they could sponsor Limelight in some way.
There are 3 levels:
- Friend: £10 – good luck message in the programme.
- Patron: £25 – Acknowledgement in programme and website, invitation to social nights and fundraising.
- Full sponsorship: Gain maximum exposure for your company/organisation by sponsoring Limelight Productions for a year. Packages worked out for a great partnership.
