Ways to support Limelight Productions

Limelight Productions was formed in 2005 to provide an opportunity for local people to show and develop their acting and musical talents in a professional environment. Each year, a professional production team is hired to work with the cast, giving them the opportunity to learn about all aspects of theatre arts from trained professionals. To date, the company has performed Little Shop of Horrors (2006), Jekyll and Hyde (2007), Oliver! (2008) and The Wizard of Oz (2009) all to great audience acclaim.

As a registered charity each of our productions help raise funds for local charities therefore Limelight Productions are extremely grateful for all the help and support that they receive from individuals and companies. Without your help it would be impossible to put on our shows. Here are ways in which you can offer your support to the company…

Put a good luck message to your nearest and dearest in the show programme for £10.

Become a Patron

To become a Patron of Limelight Productions the annual donation is £25 per year and for this you will receive:

1. Priority booking.
2. An acknowledgement in our show programme and on our website.
3. Invitation to any fundraisers, functions and social events arranged throughout the year.

Sponsorship

Why not sponsor a production? Gain maximum exposure for your company/organisation by sponsoring Limelight Productions for a year.

There are several ways that your business could help us to put on our current production. Our ultimate goal would be to have a company willing to sponsor the cost of the whole show. We are aware however that this is a huge undertaking. More realistically, we are looking to attract a number of partners, where a company could sponsor one or more aspects of the production. This has been categorised as follows

1. Basic sponsorship

   - £100 to £500 includes 2 free tickets, name promoted in the show programme and on the show website.

2. Bronze sponsorship

   - £501 to £1,000 includes a number of free tickets, company name promoted on the show website, promoted in the show programme and also in the theatre foyer.

3. Silver Sponsorship

   - £1,001 to £2,000 includes all of Bronze plus additional free tickets, full page company advert in the show programme, and higher profile in publicity material.

4. Gold sponsorship

   - £2,001 to £4,000 includes all of silver plus additional show tickets, full page company advert on inside front cover of show programme, company included in all radio and newspaper advertising, company name given high visibility on performance nights, exclusive use of a royal box with champagne.

5. Platinum sponsorship

   - £4,001 + includes all of Gold plus additional free tickets, full company advert in colour on the premium slot back cover of the show programme, company given “Main Sponsor” status in all publicity and company presented with a specially framed commemorative photograph of the company and cast.

Other forms of sponsorship are also available as follows:-

1. Microphone sponsor – you can sponsor the hire of a lead character’s radio mic at a cost of £50.
2. Principal character sponsor – this would cover the costume and the radio mic at a cost of £100.
3. Lighting sponsorship at a cost of £2,000 including stage lighting hire, design and technicians.
4. Costume sponsorship at a cost of £1,500.
5. Sound sponsorship at a cost of £1,500 to include PA hire and technicians.
6. Orchestra and rock band sponsorship at a cost of £3,000 to cover the cost of hiring professional musicians.
7. Sponsorship of scenery and staging at a cost of £4,000.
8. Venue sponsorship at a cost of £5,000 for the hire of the theatre for the week of the production.

A member of our committee would be willing to work out the best package for a great partnership.

Advertising

Advertising in our programme gives an opportunity to reach over a thousand families in Fife and beyond. Not only will your advertisment appear in the show programme it will also be displayed on our website until next years production. Last year we had over 300,000 national and international hits on our site.
