Come join us in Dorothy Gales adventures......
Dorothy Gale from Kansas dreams of what lies over the rainbow. One day a twister hits her farm and she is swept away to the magical land of Oz. In order to return to Kansas she must travel to the Emerald City to see the mighty Wizard of Oz – only he can send her back. On her journey she befriends a Scarecrow who needs a brain, a Tin Man who wants a heart, and a Cowardly Lion who needs courage. They travel with her down the yellow brick road to Oz in the hope that the Wizard will help them too ... but along the way they must escape the wrath of the Wicked Witch of the West who blames Dorothy for the death of her sister.

Charity
Our charity for 2009 is the Mary Leishman Foundation. I will let Jim do the talking:
|
Hi folks, Mary Leishman was a wonderful wife, a brilliant mother, a great friend and a caring auntie. It is for those reasons that I am writing this message to you all today. Mary was a big inspiration to everyone she met. She lived for her family, for performing on stage and brought boundless enthusiasm to everything she did, always with a warm smile on her face. Mary’s closest friends and I have decided the best way to celebrate her life would be to carry her legacy on by creating a charitable foundation in her name. The Mary Leishman Foundation aims to become a recognised local charity, giving funds back to the local area where they are needed most. I am grateful to Mary’s friends at Limelight Productions for choosing the foundation as their charity for this year’s production. All the best and enjoy the show Jim Leishman MBE |
